This blog is but one facet of the Sugar Pill Factory and its website. The Sugar Pill Factory was founded by graphic designers Mr. Gregory Wm. Jacobson and Mr. Jascha L. Rynek in late 2008 as a platform to collectively produce their hand made digital creations and web-spaces. At its core, SPF is a design team, fine website purveyor, code laboratory, and identity manufacturer located, but in no means exclusive to, Los Angeles, California in the United States of America, and this is their presence in the blog-o-sphere. The SPF Blog is maintained to serve a two-fold purpose. First, to keep people abreast of all things SPF — what we do, what we love, where and what we find inspiration in, and as a general schematic to our Modus Operandi. The second function of the SPF Blog is to provide a web-space for designers, would-be designers, and design aficionados to discuss ideas and trends in the multi-faceted world of graphic design, from extinct ephemera to web coding. To speak loftily, we believe in DIY, freedom of ideas, propagation of art, no wrong questions, and sharing is caring; but, most importantly, this is our little corner of the internet and we would like to think we can do with it what we please. We may not be the penultimate design bloggers out there, so, if you don't like what we do, we urge you to start your own blog — we will gladly subscribe.
